Kneale graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Chicago, Illinois (Northwest Campus), a Master of Business Administration degree from St. Gregory University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and is completing a Master of Science in Management degree from St. Gregory University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His interests include: martial arts (Jeet Kune Do, Musha Ryu Aikijutsu, and Bushido Kempo), yoga, Boot Camp exercise training, and ballroom dancing.

Rick graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree, and a Master of Science in Mathematics, from Pittsburg State University. He taught Mathematics and Physics at the secondary level and Mathematics at the university level. He has worked as a manager in computer science fields, and as a project manager, for over 10 years. He served in the USAFSS.

Rick and his wife, Judy, have fostered 30 children, adopting three of them. They also have two biological sons and two grandchildren.


Case Manager, Administrative Assistant, and Training Coordinator


Becca has an Associate of Science from St. Gregory’s University and is currently working on her Bachelor of Science in Social Science from St. Gregory’s University as well. With her background as a retail store manager, she is very adept at finding strengths in other people and teaching them how to leverage those strengths to accomplish their goals. She is very passionate about helping people and enjoys building positive working relationships with the people she helps. Her interests include learning, reading, and spending time with her family.


Site Director for Tahlequah

LisaLisa is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 9 years of experience in providing counseling services to children, teens, and adults of all ages with a variety of problems and concerns. Lisa graduated with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeaster State University in 2006. In 2010 she began an independent private practice in which she operated for 4 years before beginning her family and joining work with Improving Lives Counseling.

Lisa has a passion for helping others find their strength and develop the skills needed to overcome many life struggles and transitions. She works with children and adults from age 2 and above. She also loves working with couples and families. Lisa operates from a strength based approach, which means she focuses on clients strengths to help them solve their own problems. She also works from a cognitive perspective, which means she helps clients understand how their thought processes affect feelings and actions. After a thorough assessment in the first session, which includes identifying any past history or issues creating problem patterns or behaviors, therapy is goal-directed. Lisa has experience in treating individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, work frustrations, grief, anger, and abuse. She also has significant experience working with children with behavioral problems, school issues, ADHD, and trauma. Lisa also has training and 6 years of experience in providing Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, an empirically supported treatment for young children ages 2-7 with behavioral concerns. PCIT places emphasis on improving the parent-child relationship by teaching parents specific skills to establish a nurturing and secure relationship with their child while increasing their child’s prosocial behavior and decreasing negative behavior.


Billing and Credentialing Specialists

Liz is the billing and credentialing specialists for ILCS. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. She previously worked as a paralegal at a personal injury law firm which helped her realize her passion for helping and working with individuals. She plans to continue her education with the hopes of obtaining her masters. In her free time Liz enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, reading, and taking her dog Darcy for walks.

Alexis works as the receptionist at ILCS at the Tulsa office, scheduling appointments and completing a variety of other office tasks. She is currently working on her Associates degree in Psychology at Tulsa Community College. She plans to continue her education with the goal of obtaining her masters in Psychology to begin working as a Professional Counselor. Alexis enjoys the arts and spends her spare time working in her church with children and in music.
